Stonemakers architectural
products are made up of the following groups to match other elements
such as our classical columns: all the elements can be considered for a
new facade or for a dramatic and value- adding renovation. You
can capture the elegance and style of Georgian England or Renaissance
Florence by using these elements with a little planning. We can assist
with the conceptual side of your design. To request a free initial
design meeting with your architect or designer simply phone our
showroom on 1300 851 089 ask for Max Herford.
Cornice
Used for porticos and pediments. We offer around five designs to fit
various sizes on a facade design. They are recreations of Palladian
Tuscan profiles with good overhang to create a strong roofline or
parapet detail.
See cornice sheet
Architrave, Sills, Headstones
Used as window surround elements together with headstones and
keystones, they add shadow and emphasis to windows and other important
elements.

Quoins, C ornerstones
Often seen on Georgian or Victorian period buildings, they add the fine
look and feel of ashlar stone to any structure. Our built in quoins are
perfectly scaled for courselines of three domestic bricks. They are
economical to lay as they are included in the bricklayer's installation
contract and the built- in construction removes all risk of failure
associated with epoxy-adhered pieces.
See quoin sheet
Thresholds
Use our standard bullnose elements to detail an attractive and very
durable threshold.
Porticos
Two or four columns plus architrave add style and weather protection
atop your front entrance. Our porticos are seen from Toorak to Bellevue
Hill; always understated and well proportioned, they do more to add
distitnction to your home than most other options.
