Rendermix - Haddonstone the Stonemakers

Haddonstone Rendermix is designed to give the colour and texture of the Haddonstone material in a wall finish, which is easily applied with a trowel by a plasterer or renderer. It will provide an attractive texture and colour, which will soften and weather as it ages, lasting for many years. (see Rendermix notes) Rendermix finish is tonal, with uneven colour sections showing through the area covered. Also, the sweep of the tradesman's hand will be evident on the surface. It is translucent, not flat and opaque, and ideally suited to domestic application where a craftsman's hand finish is appropriate. A rustic and tonal surface finish The finish is rustic not slick and precise. It offers the look of renderered and colour-washed walls seen on very old Colonial buildings. Before Ordering Haddonstone Rendermix should be applied by an experienced tradesman, to standard brick or concrete walls. Top Coat application Rendermix is designed to be used as a top coat over a standard scratch coat of grey cement. The base coat minimum thickness should be 6 mm, and the Rendermix minimum thickness should be 6 mm minimum. Seek special advice if using this product with Hebel block walls.
